Independent Thought Fellow 2016 – Parul Gupta
Parul is a Research Scholar in University School of Environment Management, GGSIP University, Delhi. She has submitted her PhD thesis on 'Green cover and groundwater relationship with respect to urbanisation in Delhi'. She has worked extensively on groundwater resources of Delhi. Under the Independent Thought Fellowship 2016 she will be working on 'Business and Human Rights' unit focusing on environmental law and children. She has joined iThought to learn more about rights based approach in development and research field and hopes that this association will help her in activating her 'rights' eye. She is a recipient of Indraprastha Research Fellowship. Parul is a keen reader and likes to explore new places to eat.'
Independent Thought Fellow 2016 – Nilesh Jain
Nilesh is a law graduate and currently pursuing LLM from Faculty of Law, Delhi University. His areas of interest includes Constitution Law, Human Rights, Philosophy of Law, economics and politics. Under the Independent Thought Fellowship 2016 she will be working on Child Rights Law. He has joined iThought to get exposed to working with diverse stakeholders at national as well as community level. He holds the position of General Secretary of the Delhi University Post Graduate Law Students Union. Nilesh loves books, sitcoms, swimming among other things.
